Most of the time, the LVP and LVT are 8 millimeters thick. However, if you want it thicker, which will add to the lifetime of the material, you can get it at 20 millimeters thickness. There is also a rigid backing layer that resists moisture, dents, and scratches.

Luxury vinyl is, at its core, a plastic product. The layers of plastic that are pressed together are a plastic wood composite or tile composite core.
